As 2IC to the Head of IR, the role manages the day-to-day requirements of the IR function. With a focus on building investor confidence and supporting their strategic goals, the team works collaboratively to deliver expert guidance, craft compelling communication materials, and develop financial strategies that align with the company's vision.
Specifics responsibilities include:
- Leading the preparation and development of investor-related communication material including presentations, annual and half year announcement & reports, investor website information, ASX/media releases, and other investor information and material;
- Coordinating and overseeing the analysis of financial data including broker consensus, company & peer valuation comparisons, stock price and volume movements, security holder register, and market/industry trends;
- Preparing periodic reports, analysis and information for the monthly market report for the board as well as data/information for internal stakeholders;
- Preparing timely responses to investor queries and assisting the Head of IR in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and sell-side analysts;
- Managing the end-to-end processes for investor events including analyst briefings, investor days, site visits, annual meetings and roadshows; and
- Undertaking other investor relations activities as required.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a background in investor relations or capital markets, a passion for problem solving, and strong numerical and commercial skills. This is a key role within the team, where exceptional communication, influencing and project management skills are required. You will also have proven experience in identifying, establishing, and maintaining relationships with key investors and stakeholders. Experience in producing quality and impactful internal and external communications material, and excellent conceptual and quantitative skills are also important.
