**About the Role**:
We are seeking a professional and reliable **Security Officer** to join our team at a busy **gaming venue**. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing a safe, welcoming environment for patrons and staff, while ensuring the venue operates smoothly and within compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and screen patrons upon entry (ID checks, RSA compliance)
- Maintain a visible presence in the gaming area to deter disruptive behaviour
- Monitor patron behaviour and intervene when necessary to de-escalate issues
- Assist with crowd control and patron flow during peak hours
- Ensure gaming floor rules, RSA, and venue policies are followed
- Complete incident and shift reports accurately
- Liaise with venue staff and emergency services when required
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, or incidents calmly and professionally

**Requirements**:

- **Current and valid Victorian Security Licence and First Aid certificate**:

- Previous experience in licensed venues or gaming environments preferred
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain alert, professional, and courteous at all times
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Well-groomed, presentable appearance
