We’re looking for friendly and reliable **Centre Assistants** to help manage evening operations on weekdays when the centre is at its busiest. Whether you're a student, looking for part-time work, or keen to be part of the local sports community, this is a great chance to join a supportive team and grow with us. **Training will be provided**—so no prior experience is necessary. **Key Responsibilities** - Welcoming and checking in customers for court bookings - Processing payments for bookings and merchandise (EFTPOS and cash) - Providing friendly customer service and answering general enquiries - Assisting with merchandise sales (e.g. shuttlecocks, grips) - General cleaning of the courts, toilets, and common areas - Ensuring the centre remains tidy, safe, and welcoming - Reporting any issues or feedback to management **What We’re Looking For** - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently - Friendly, approachable, and confident with customer service - Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling payments - Familiar with computers/tech - Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a bonus - A casual interest or knowledge in badminton is welcome, but not required **Why Join Us?** - Flexible shifts - Relaxed, supportive team culture - Discounted court access for staff - Be part of an exciting growth journey as we revamp the centre - Convenient weekday evening hours that work around other commitments If you're someone who enjoys being around people and contributing to a smooth and welcoming space: **TO APPLY, please send your resume and complete this short assessment (
