Shifts: Weekdays 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Flexible shifts available) / Weekend shifts

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT - public transport is not available in our area.

Peak Play Sports Centre is the biggest badminton centre in Melbourne's western suburbs with 15 high-quality courts. We're looking for friendly and reliable Centre Assistants to help manage evening operations on weekdays when the centre is at its busiest.

Whether you're a student, looking for part-time work, or keen to be part of the local sports community, this is a great chance to join a supportive team and grow with us. Training will be provided—so no prior experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and checking in customers for court bookings
  • Processing payments for bookings and merchandise (EFTPOS and cash)
  • Providing friendly customer service and answering general enquiries
  • Assisting with merchandise sales (e.g. shuttlecocks, grips)
  • General cleaning of the courts, toilets, and common areas
  • Ensuring the centre remains tidy, safe, and welcoming
  • Reporting any issues or feedback to management

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident with customer service
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling payments
  • Familiar with computers/tech
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a bonus
  • A casual interest or knowledge in badminton is welcome, but not required
