A rare opportunity is now available to join the Aveda team as a Salon Development Partner on a fixed term contract within our NSW team.
Based in Sydney and reporting to the National Salon Manager, you will be personally aligned to our mission and values and have a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional customer service and support.
Based in the field, you will be responsible for supporting and partnering with our existing salons to accelerate their growth and success, and exploring and executing on new business opportunities throughout the region.
Through aligning with the brand’s sales targets, focused on sell-through solutions, your key goals will be achieved through the level of support provided to our salon partners, and drive sales and growth throughout the NSW region. Interstate travel may be required.
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets monthly, quarterly and annually
- Ability to generate their own leads from prospecting activity, and convert new salons to the Aveda Exclusive Salon Model
- Passion for prospecting, cold calling, meeting new salons, negotiating opening packages and converting to open targeted amount of new doors each fiscal
- Strong presenting, business building and negotiating skills
- Success in presenting monthly marketing opportunities and securing orders
- 360 approach to salon business support, with a commercial flair for supporting salon owners on a range of business growth topics from staff technical and retail training, basic marketing, reviewing salon business benchmarks on a quarterly basis to name a few
- Positivity, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude with ability to inspire and motivate others
- Passion for people and ability to quickly build rapport
- Consultative selling skills, including advanced questioning skills to explore business needs, and formulating and executing creative solutions

- Passion the hair and beauty industry
- Strong business acumen with ability to calculate budgets, read and edit spreadsheets, build and edit powerpoints and create salon tools on canva

- Highly organized, self-starter, and computer literate with strong follow-up and follow-through skills
- Strong drive to succeed with a sense of urgency, and ability to plan and manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines and goals.

- Experience and success at coaching and leading others
**Qualifications**:
Ideally, you will have a sales background, and in the hairdressing/ beauty industry, and a passion for the Aveda mission.
You will be both results and people oriented and always seek to increase customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. You must hold a valid drivers license as this role requires you to travel.
