About the role

Fuchs Hair Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team in Alexandria, NSW. As a casual Salon Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operations of our busy hair salon. Whether you're a beauty enthusiast looking to gain valuable industry experience or an experienced professional seeking a new opportunity, this position offers the chance to work in a creative environment with an amazing team culture.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Assisting stylists with client services such as shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair
  3. Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the salon, including cleaning equipment, replenishing supplies, and tidying workstations
  4. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clients have a positive and enjoyable salon experience
  5. Performing administrative tasks as required, such as booking appointments and managing client records

What we're looking for

  1. A passion for the hair and beauty industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  3. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients
  4. Previous experience in a similar salon assistant or customer service role is desirable, but not essential
  5. A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
