Head of Education

**J**ob Description:*

The HEAD OF EDUCATION (HOE) is a full-time role based primarily out of Rogue Beauty HQ, NSW and requires frequent (no less than 25%) interstate travel. HOE is responsible for co-designing and developing all training materials, assets and training classes and curriculum in collaboration with Rogue Beauty’s brand leads, educators and partners to drive education, brand loyalty and brand recognition supporting both new business development and existing business growth strategies. The HOE works in conjunction with the Rogue Beauty sales and marketing teams to ensure the successful expansion of new salon doors, grow existing territory and salon sales through product education, sell through and retail training and classes, business training, and strong relationship management. The HOE reports into the Managing Director on the success and impact of education classes, trainings and workshops held nationally.

**Essential Functions**:

- Create a powerful, trusting relationship with salon owners, stylists and employees
- Support, train and improve all Rogue Beauty employee’s product knowledge and brand / product familiarity by designing classes, workshops and other resources in collaboration with the Capabilities Manager.
- Manage produce and host any Rogue Beauty onsite / offsite education classes and events
- Create annual education plan and collaborate with Head of Sales, Head of Marketing and Managing Director to set annual education budget
- Maintain strong development and training plans for all consultant educators and artists
- Work closely with Rogue Beauty to determine and support education and training strategies at a salon-by-salon level
- Deliver highest quality in-salon presentations and product classes
- Assist and design the process, tools and resources for the launch new salons
- Support Sales new business goals
- Achieve individual education revenue goals by educating and consulting with the Account Managers, salon owners, managers, and stylists
- Manage a systematic education and planning schedule
- Execute strategic education plans for each salon
- Promote, plan, coordinate and assist in execution of regional and national company-sponsored, business development and educational events
- Attend all company provided meetings and trainings
- Utilise and record all daily salon interactions in Rogue Beauty’s enterprise software system
- Overnight travel varies from 25% up to 50%

**Teamwork**:

- Work as a team with office staff and other field sales representatives nationally
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to support company initiatives, events and special projects
- Actively participate in meetings, sharing ideas or presenting information that will contribute to the overall development of the team

**Travel**:

- Attend in-field education, company events or special visits to key accounts on an as needed basis
- Weekend and evening appointments or events on an as needed basis

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Skills required:

- Netsuite ERP proficient
- Event management
- Haircare and hair salon professional sales & marketing experience
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficient
- Proven, hair care industry event management and production experience
- Experience working with or knowledge of our brands preferred
