**Position Summary**
Seeking a new challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you Woolpert is hiring a Survey Manager to join our Survey team at our Macquarie Park office. This position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the survey business, including the direction, coordination and safety of survey staff.
**Your New Role**
As a Survey Manager at Woolpert, you will:
- Manage client relationships and expectations to ensure successful survey project delivery.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of survey projects, including budgeting, technical design, and subcontractor management.
- Collaborate with account management, business development, and operations teams to develop and implement best practice technical solutions.
- Supervise and mentor survey personnel, including performance management, skills assessments, and professional development.
**Minimum Requirements**
- University qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- 5 years’ experience, managing survey field teams, especially in remote GPS / TLS / MLS / UAV / UAS surveys.
**Preferred Skills and Abilities**
- Registered Surveyor NSW
- Sound practical land survey experience in either geodetic or engineering surveying in support of the resource industry and infrastructure development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of best practice survey techniques and be thoroughly competent in the use of survey equipment and software systems.
- Comfortable advising, and consulting to, all clients and staff across a wide range of issues
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to liaise with all levels of staff and management
