Located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, this role will have responsibility for supporting operations with adherence to specifications, development and implementation of quality processes which enable goods to be delivered to the satisfaction of the customer, and leading continuous improvement activities with a strong focus on the detection of problems and their resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality assurance and interested in starting or developing their career in the manufacturing industry.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordinating with manufacturing and suppliers the resolution of quality concerns, inclusive of containment, Root Cause Analysis and preventative actions.
- Analysis of quality data for the purpose of continuous improvement activities.
- Implementation of quality related continuous improvement activities.
- Auditing and ensuring policy and procedures are in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Auditing of products to established standards.
- Advising production staff on conformance requirements.
- Performing sample part inspection & measurements, and generating inspection reports.
- Competent computer, organizational & communication skills.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification would be an advantaged but is not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skill and attention to details.
- Problem solving skills with the ability to ask questions, get to the bottom of a problem and provide solutions.
