**The Position**:
As a Life Claims Assessor in the Specialist Claims team, you can expect to be performing the following tasks:

- Managing and assessing a portfolio of Retail or Group IP and TPD psychological claims
- Day to day liaison with doctors, rehabilitation providers, legal professionals and advisers
- Initiating claims investigations
- Requesting medical and financial information
- Making claim decisions according to your a authority level

**About You**:

- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Life Claims Assessor in either Group or Retail **OR**:

- Proven experience in Workers Compensation Claims or CTP Claims (minimum 2 yrs)
- Experience in assessing Income Protection [IP] and Total and Permanent Disability [TPD] claims
- You will have a passion for mental health and wellbeing
- High attention to detail, resilient and empathetic
