**How will you accomplish this?**
- Design and lead the delivery of the Sportsbet people strategy, including thought leadership to continue the growth of the best talent in Australia. Contribute to annual organisational alignment process including strategy development, communication, and individual objective alignment
- Determine long term people strategy, defining and delivering on culture aspiration and EVP to enable strategic alignment and attraction of the best talent
- As a member of our Sportbet extended leadership team (ELT), you will head the People and Culture function by providing long term thought leadership and coaching and development of the P&C team
- Ownership of HR Budget including Property and Labour
- Measure and drive key people metrics (attrition, engagement), HR reporting and insights to inform key business decisions
- Identification of organisational changes with impact on people, culture, or environment that enable us to achieve our strategic business objectives
- Ensure that all organisational changes enable the strategy, are consistently planned, effectively executed and drive employee engagement
- Lead an effective and consistent approach to organisational design across Sportsbet to reshape and enable scale
- Provide organisational development thought leadership, shaping the organisation to successfully achieve future scale and growth, in alignment with budgets.

**Your background**:

- Authentic and adaptive leadership style with a passion for culture development

- Self-driven with the ability to inspire and mobilise others to action
- Ability to flexibly scale strategy and execution depending on short
- and long-term objectives
- Proven experience in partnering with executive leaders in a digital or other progressive business with developing people practices
- Proven ability to influence and present concepts/ideas to senior executive teams
- A well-rounded HR player with knowledge of both generalist and specialist HR disciplines including reward, OD, Internal comms, Talent, and LD
- Proven ability to identify innovative and fit for purpose solutions
- Proven experience engaging stakeholders in developing and implementing change programs
- Passion for Talent and driving practical real talent and succession outcomes throughout the organisation
- Fast thinker and learner. Must be able to operate in ambiguity in a very fast paced environment
- Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills
