**The Role - HR People & Culture Advisor**

Reporting to the Director of Operations, The HR People & Culture Advisor will be both operational and strategic in nature, while managing the day-to-day HR operations, supporting managers, and responding to ad hoc HR-related queries, the HR People & Culture Advisor will also work alongside the Leadership team working to identify, design and implement best practice HR strategies and solutions that support the business as it continues to grow and evolve.

**As HR People & Culture Advisor, you will**:

- Promote and drive a strong, empowering, and inspiring work culture in line with the organisations values.
- Develop and implement workplace division strategies including succession and retention planning and training initiatives to deliver this strategy.
- Take a leadership role in employee engagement and experience, reward & recognition.
- Act as a mentor and leader to the Directors.
- Responsible for identifying, planning, and executing team activities and get-togethers. This may include team retreats, professional development, or virtual events.
- Deliver best practice recruitment and selection, induction, training and development, performance management, industrial relations, workforce planning, and staff engagement.

**Your Skills and Attributes**
- Business Acumen & exemplary Communication Skills (both verbal and written).
- Self-started with a can-do, positive attitude.
- Ability to manage a team and support Training & Development
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a generalist HR practitioner
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or similar
- Excellent working knowledge of the various State and Federal statutory requirements that underpin human resources, industrial and employee relations.
- Well-developed interpersonal, consulting, coaching and negotiating skills including the ability to liaise and provide advice to management and staff at all levels.
- Must be a positive mentor, with the ability to coach for success and drive positive culture and initiatives throughout the team.
- Experience with Employment Hero highly regarded.
