**Worker’s Compensation Consultant**

Your role is to provide clients and client executives with solutions to their WC and risk management problems, analyse client needs, perform Outsourced Return to Work Coordinator Functions, recommend suitable approaches or options, prepare accurate proposals and project plans, participate in the project and deliver against project plan, complete review and measures results, maintain strong day to day relationships with clients and client executives on projects

**We will count on you to**:
**Project Management**
- Follow, promote and facilitate the project management processes and procedures on all projects in accordance with the Marsh SOPs
- Comply with company policy and procedures for timekeeping, expense reporting and billing
- Debtor management

**Business Development**
- Actively develop and generate new and expanded business opportunities
- Provide suggestions to team for improving and enhancing business development activities
- Identify cross selling opportunities and participate in cross selling initiatives as appropriate

**Colleague Development**
- Support line manager in mentoring consultants and assist in peer reviewing their activities as required
- Seek opportunities for self and colleagues to develop new skills and broaden and deepen knowledge

**Revenue Generation**
- Produce consulting revenues based on revenue targets and utilisation rate

**What you need to have**:

- Tertiary degree in Occupational Health and Safety, IM or any relevant field
- 3 years + experience in WC advisory or related role is desirable
- Thorough knowledge of WC legislation and current issues in WC
- Current drivers licence

**Skills and Specifications**
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Interpersonal and leadership skills for the purposes of coaching, mentoring and interacting with clients and colleagues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for the purposes of interacting with colleagues, clients and prospects
- Skills in time management
- Attention to detail and quality management
- Ability to rapidly learn new systems
