The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including General Medicine, Surgery (General and Day), Coronary Care, Gynaecology, 24-hour Emergency, Allied Health (Physiotherapy, Social Work, Dietetics, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy), and Diagnostic Services (Pathology and Radiology).

**Where You’ll Be Working**

We are currently seeking a Clinical Support Officer (CSO) for a leave relief position, offering a dynamic opportunity to gain valuable experience across multiple hospital departments. In this role, you will primarily assist in the theatre ward alongside another CSO to ensure the smooth running of operations. One day per week, you will also provide support on our 30-bed ground floor medical ward.

When a CSO colleague is on leave, you will be redeployed to various wards throughout the hospital, providing flexibility and the chance to expand your skills in all areas of CSO duties. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your experience, contribute to different departments, and play a vital role in patient care across the hospital.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a Clinical Support Officer (CSO), you will support the hospital’s operations by:

- Data Entry and Reporting: Inputting and managing data in HRIS, finance, and patient care systems
- Workforce Administration: Assisting with rostering, recruitment, performance reviews, leave, and payroll to meet KPIs.
- Supply Management: Managing medical and non-medical supplies.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring staff registrations meet regulatory requirements.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can confidently and effectively work with and support their team and the NUMs to ensure mutual success. Being able to understand there will be various priorities, goals, and communication styles, across departments and proactively adjusting your approach to meet your role expectations will be beneficial.
