**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to join their growing team in Parramatta. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working within the Corporate Services Business Unit, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of end to end recruitment activities across the Department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage comprehensive end to end recruitment process including advertising, culling, telephone screening, interviewing, psychometric assessments and reference checks
- Provide advise to hiring managers on talent management strategies
- Assist with the design, coordination and management of recruitment campaigns
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Executive and Senior Managers providing expert advise
- Track, monitor and seek feedback on attraction recruitment and onboarding practises ensuring continuous improvement
- Generating letters of offer and employment contracts
- Onboarding of new employees
- Updating and maintaining employee files and records
- Records and database management ensuring high accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
- Provide general support for program and project management initiatives
- Ensure compliance with PSC recruitment rules

**About You**
- Extensive Recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
- Previous experience within Public Sector or a complex environment highly advantageous
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
- Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
