We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join our team in Australia. This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment services to support the staffing needs of our centres. Working closely with Centre Directors, HR, and senior management, you will play a critical role in sourcing, assessing, and onboarding high-quality candidates who align with our values and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand current and future resourcing needs.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — including advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and onboarding. This covers preparing contracts and offer letters, conducting pre-employment checks (WWCC, VEVO, references, police), creating employee profiles, coordinating induction schedules, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and properly filed.
  • Manage job postings across SEEK, Indeed, LinkedIn and other platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with the Fair Work Act, privacy legislation, and company policies.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process.
  • Track and analyse recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, conversion rates) and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, including social media campaigns, careers page updates, and external recruitment events such as university sessions and job fairs.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in recruitment, HR administration, or talent acquisition.
  • Knowledge of Fair Work Modern Awards.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in the education or childcare sector (e.g. WWCC, VEVO, ACECQA).
  • Expriences in using recruitment platforms, and ATS Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information.
