**Ventia **are seeking a **Project Officer** to support our fast-paced Project Delivery team as part of our Defence Base Services contract. This is a permanent full-time role based at RAAF Pearce in Bullsbrook, WA.Reporting to the Regional Project Delivery Manager, this position will see you play a vital role to assist with the delivery of successful outcomes across the Defence contract and is the link between relevant defence personnel, associated project consultants and contractors involved with a range of contracts. In addition, you will be directly managing minor works, end of project provisions, post-construction including Ventia sub-contractors.The salary package on offer for this position is $95,000 per year (including Superannuation).- To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check._

**Your duties will include, but not limited to**:

- Build and develop strong business relationships with Defence management
- Drive the completion of all allocated enabling services that includes support to onsite activities
- Understand customer needs and manage expectations, balancing them with commercial deliverables
- Deliver consistent and timely advice on the operability and maintainability of estate items delivered by the project
- Validate & verify updates to estate, compliance and contract data and documentation
- Provide accurate and timely advice to relevant Defence personnel where required

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong focus on delivery of excellent customer service to key stakeholders of all levels
- Demonstrated technical understanding of the construction industry is highly regarded
- Experience in a Defence/Facilities Maintenance role - Desirable
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SAP or similar - Desirable
- Highly developed written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
