Exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join a State Government Department

A State Government Department is looking for an Project Officer to join their newly formed team. The Team provides support for the administrative aspects of student placement. This role requires you to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**

Your role as a Project Officer will entail:

- To capture the current state processes in place
- Identify opportunities for standardisation - and genuine discipline specific requirements
- Document processes and develop handbooks
- Identify streamlining opportunities
- Process mapping, allocating students to various sites across the university**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in large volume process mapping or allocation
- A tertiary qualification is desirable
- Strong experience in Excel spreadsheets and documenting
- Experience with in the health or education industry would be favoured

**What you'll get in return**
- 3-6 month contract, with a possible extension
- Full time hours
- 7.5 hour working days (Flexible start and finish time within core hours of 8am to 6pm)
- Paid parking is available onsite
- Regular public transport links from the CBD and surrounding areas
- Pay rate is around $50-65 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience
- To start as soon as possible
