A person eligible for appointment as a Legal Member of the Tribunal must be:
A lawyer of at least five (5) years standing. That is, you must have been admitted to the legal profession in Australia for a minimum of five (5) years.
People from a diverse range of backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
People with lived experience of mental health are also encouraged to apply.
