About the Role
- Contribute to the understanding of individual consumer presentations by facilitating culturally appropriate assessment and assisting with interpretation of information from a cultural perspective, including the provision of co-case management as an Other Service Provider (OSP).
- Provide support to consumers during the delivery of mental health services including clinical review processes and Mental Health Review Tribunals.
- Liaise with other professionals working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers, including participation in case conferences and discharge planning.
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
