**About the Role**
As the Arts Faculty Librarian, you will lead engagement with the Faculty of Arts and Fine Arts and Music in library services, collections, and resources that support research and learning, and teaching.
Working with key faculty stakeholders (both academic and professional staff) you will lead a team of liaison and liaison support librarians to deliver high-quality, impactful, scalable, and sustainable programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and directing library services to the Arts Faculty and indirectly to Fine Arts and Music Faculty, contributing to the University’s and faculties’ strategic teaching, learning, and research goals.
- Leading strategic stakeholder-library engagement and developing effective partnerships with academics and researchers in Arts Faculty, Scholarly Services colleagues, and professional staff to develop and deliver effective services and strategic initiatives.
- Leading the team of Arts liaison librarians, with a clear focus on efficient and effective services and improvements, building capability to deliver strategic goals, and managing performance to build a highly effective team.

**Who we are looking for**
We’re looking for experienced librarians with a background in effective management of library services in higher education, including the development of library collections and development of information research skills in a variety of audiences in the University. You will be an innovative leader who can develop collaborative, high-performing work teams and implement change in the workplace.

You will also have:

- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and significant relevant management experience and/or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. Must be eligible for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
- Proven capacity to effectively build relationships and negotiate with a range of clients, including key faculty staff and academics.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and deliver impactful, innovative library services and partnership opportunities that support University and Faculty goals and programs, particularly through the use of technological solutions.
