**About the Role**
As the Liaison Librarian, you will principally work with the Business and Economics Liaison team and other Scholarly Services colleagues to design and deliver a range of programs and resources that support researchers and graduate students. You will provide support as needed to teaching & learning programs for coursework students, participates in cross-team projects and other activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Work with liaison colleagues and other Scholarly Services staff to develop, deliver and evaluate a range of innovative programs and resources that support researchers and graduate researchers through the research lifecycle
- Contribute to support for learning and teaching-related programs as required. May include participating in the development, delivery and evaluation of programs for coursework students
- Key activities include researcher training; providing advice, training and resources on literature searching, research impact, researcher profiles, strategic publishing, data management, institutional repository, scholarly publishing, and open access options; collection development and faculty liaison

**Who we are looking for**
We are seeking an enthusiastic Librarian who can demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, initiative, and a desire to provide excellence in library services. You will be tech savvy and will have strong digital skills and confidence eg. web skills, multimedia technologies, productivity tools, social media. You can enthusiastically build and maintain professional client relationships with individuals from a wide range of diversities in which your excellent communication skills (verbal and written, including report writing) will assist you with.

You will also have:

- Post graduate qualifications in librarianship or a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. Eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
- Ability to initiate new and innovative approaches to university research support services in a rapidly changing tertiary education environment, particularly through online communication and learning
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for contemporary academic librarianship particularly those relevant to supporting researchers and research activities

It is desirable that the applicant would have study or work experience relevant to Business and Economics; and/or a working knowledge of Business and Economics resources and databases.
