**About the Role**
Joining the Academic Support Office (ASO) within the Faculty of Arts presents a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the development, delivery, and quality assurance of teaching and learning activities across various academic programs.
As the Curriculum and Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing high-level support and guidance for curriculum development and program reviews for the Faculty's programs.
Utilising your exceptional communication and problem-solving ability, you will work closely with stakeholders across the Faculty to navigate compliance requirements adeptly to ensure program integrity and quality.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with key Faculty and School stakeholders to ensure high level support for quality curriculum design in the Faculty of Arts programs, across undergraduate, honours, graduate coursework and graduate research.
- Provide high level support in major reviews of programs, specialisations and courses, including monitoring of progress on resultant action plans.
- Support compliance activities ensuring changes to programs are AQF and UoM policy compliant.
- Coordinate the Student One and Curriculum Approval Publication System (CAPS) configuration as required.
- Support the Faculty Committees, including the Bachelor of Arts Course Standing Committee and Graduate Studies Committee and any sub committees.
**Who we are looking for**
We're in search of a highly motivated, dynamic team member with demonstrated stakeholder management and ability to interpret complex policy in prior positions held.
A high degree of initiative and self-management to deal with the range of projects and tasks involved is critical to the role, and the ability to be self-motivated and flexible in responding to changing work priorities throughout the academic year.
The role requires highly developed interpersonal skills and strategies for dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders with different needs in a dynamic and complex environment, including School E&S Chairs, Heads of Discipline Coordinators, the BA Director and the Graduate School of Humanities (GSHSS) Director and the Arts Teaching Innovation Team (ATI).
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification or a mix of education and relevant experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders (e.g. students, academics and inter-departments) and deliver high quality customer services.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and judgement to analyse problems and provide appropriate solutions.
- Experience in providing committee support including minute taking, preparing papers and communications.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and work collaboratively in a team.
- Demonstrated aptitude for self-direction and motivation including an ability to work under pressure when dealing with a variety of tasks, conflicting priorities and multiple deadlines.
