**About the role**

As Leading Hand, you will be responsible for undertaking turf and garden maintenance within open spaces, complete tasks with limited supervision and provide direction and guidance to your team as required.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Establish and maintain turf areas and gardens throughout Ipswich
- Assist with minor landscape construction works
- Undertake the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Manage equipment and materials stock to complete works
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
- Current QLD A.C.D.C Licence or be able to obtain within 6 months of appointment.
- Immunisation against QFever
- If you have already been immunised, you will be required to provide your immunisation certification/certificate
- If you are not already immunised, you will need to undertake this immunisation and provide certification prior to commencing in this role. Immunisation history statements can be accessed via Medicare online account through MyGov
- Q Fever immunisation status can be confirmed prior to immunisation is undertaken
- Current “MR” Class Licence is desirable

This is a permanent position, LGE Level 5 - 6 with a salary commencing at $65,696 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
