**About the role**

As Leading Hand (Trade Asset Services) you will be part of the Trade and Facilities Maintenance team and will be responsible for maintenance and minor construction activities in accordance with Council’s Landscape, civil works and building standards.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Carry out and complete maintenance of park and facility improvements to Council Standards, Australian Standards or Australian Quality Framework performance standards (as is appropriate)
- Maintain properties and maintain, construct and/or repair minor structures including fences, concrete, shelters, and buildings
- Conduct inspections on park equipment and assets and report on outcomes
- Comply with relevant legislation, Council policies and procedures
- Participate in the development of a Teamwork Plan

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant trade qualification would be an advantage
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A drive to deliver high quality work standards
- A current MR Class Drivers Licence

A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (Including a drug and alcohol test)

There are 2 Permanent full-time positions based at Yamanto Depot, LGE Level 5-6 with a salary commencing at $63,474 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
