**About the role**

As Leading Hand (Open Space) you will be part of the Field Services branch and will be responsible for undertaking general maintenance, turf maintenance and customer focused activities.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Establish and maintain all turf and gardens in Council Open Space network to standard
- Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained
- Ensure continuous improvement in the workplace

Applicants for this position are required to have Q Fever vaccinations and prepared to undertake FIT Testing

A pre employment medical will be required for this role (Including a drug and alcohol test)

**What's on offer?**

This is a Permanent full-time position, LGE Level 5-6 with a salary commencing at $63,474 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
