Leading Hand

**About the role**

As Leading Hand (Signs) you will be part of the Signs team and responsible for maintenance and Installation of council signage. You will play a key role in ensuring that signage across the city is effective and of high quality to meet the needs of our community.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Operate machinery and undertake detailed sign maintenance
- Participate in planning, hazard identification and risk assessment of work activities
- Leading your team to complete tasks on time and at a high standard
- Liaise and provide feedback to the team to ensure a collaborative team

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
- Ideally, some experience in civil construction
- A focus on enhancing the quality life for the community
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (including drug and alcohol testing).

This is a full-time position with a salary between $64,571 and $67,220 plus 12.5% superannuation.
