**The Opportunity**
The Regulation Directorate sits within the Transport Policy and Regulation Division and is responsible for driving the Government’s regulation and policy initiatives and ensuring appropriate compliance, behaviour and safe access across our transport networks.

The Accreditation Officer is expected to perform accurate data entry, handling of cash via electronic transfer, reconciliation of moneys, collation of statistical information, by using existing departmental systems. In addition, the Accreditation Officer will help other team members as required and to participate in and contribute to the continuous review of systems and process to meet government, departmental and directorate objectives.

**About You**
We are looking for a collaborative team member who can work effectively independently and as part of a team in managing functions and processes and who demonstrates:

- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain integrity and accuracy of databases and records.

**Experience**
Working knowledge of the departments Transport Regulation User Management Processing System (TRUMPS) will be well regarded.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) which must be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 months - Multiple vacancies

**Remuneration**
ASO2 - $58,709 to $63,154 per annum
