**The Role**
The Administration Officer is part of Centacare’s Administration Team of 10 people based in the Head Office in Wakefield Street. The Administration Team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, strong and effective relationships with stakeholders with an emphasis on great communication, friendliness and a dynamic team approach.
The administration officer will work closely with Centacare service delivery programs and will provide essential administrative support to the corporate and service delivery areas with the possibility of reception duties including welcoming visitors and clients.

**What you need to bring**
**Essential**
- Outgoing, friendly personality with the ability to relate to and communicate with people from all different cultures, including young children, parents and staff
- Demonstrate experience in providing a broad range of administration skills with excellent attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-faceted team environment along with proven ability to work independently
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.
- Ability to work additional outside of traditional work hours as outlined in your contract when required
**Desirable**
- Experience using Penelope electronic client management system
- Experience working in the non-for-profit or community services sector
- First Aid certificate
