About the role
Your leadership will extend beyond technical expertise as you drive capability building within your team and the broader organisation. You'll take a proactive role to enhance workplace relations skills in managers and be responsible for the development and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and tools that reflect contemporary public sector practices. You will integrate data analytics to provide insights and make evidence-based recommendations that will guide decision-making and help manage risks effectively.

You thrive in complex environments, using your strategic mindset to navigate challenges and possess a track record of successfully leading a team of HR professionals to achieve positive results.

- Extensive knowledge in workplace relations and industrial relations.
- Demonstrated ability to grow workplace relations capability within your team and across the broader organisation.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations cases and resolve disputes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills at all organisational levels.
- Ability to influence and advise senior leadership with confidence and credibility.
- Possess a positive demeanour coupled with a solution-focused mindset to address complex HR challenges.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and safe work environment, modelling culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical conduct.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Leadership capability, with the ability to mentor and support other HR professionals.
