This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and results-driven individual to take ownership of a key regional sales territory. You’ll manage and grow our customer base amongst Irrigation & Plumbing distributors across Northern and Western NSW - including Newcastle, Dubbo, Armidale and Coffs Harbour regions. You’ll be supported by a collaborative sales team and backed by one of the most trusted names in the industry. Based regionally in North or West NSW, this is a 360 degrees sales role, with both account management and business development, where you will build strong relationships and use your stakeholder management skills to showcase our values and benefits, and build a solid sales pipeline.Developing and implementing strategies to achieve increased revenue and market share.- Be an active member of the NSW Sales team and contribute to the wider strategic direction of the Vinidex business.- Establish & maintain effective and influential relationships with key customers within the distributor space- Deliver quality reporting against a range of key customer KPIs via our CRM system- Successfully secure and manage key project activity within the Irrigation and Plumbing segment, working closely with all internal stakeholders particularly the Projects and Customer Service Administration teams- Introduce a range of value-added initiatives within the region to enhance market share, secure targets and deliver improved margin returns.- Contribute to the development of a team-based culture within the region by supporting cultural change initiatives. About you- Ideally you will have 2- 5 years Territory Sales Manager experience, managing a designated area with proven experience in B2B sales - ideally in irrigation, plumbing, hardware or civil industries.- Excellent problem solving skills and able to find the best solution.- Strong financial and commercial acumen, comfortable leading pricing discussions with the ability to make the right commercial decisions, and able to translate opportunities into actions to drive results.- Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office and presentation skills, and proficient using ERP/CRM systems (SAP and Salesforce preferred).- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.- Ability to build meaningful relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business, customers and industrial alliances, to influence and negotiate to get the best outcome.- Able to work on your own and are a team player with a collaborative style who is positive, resilient, and is a strategic thinker with the ability to think outside the box to deliver results and drive new business opportunities.- Excellent time management and coordination skills with a sense of urgency, with high attention to detail and a analytical mindset.- You are safety focused, have a can-do attitude, are flexible, quickly adapt to new challenges and support change.- Have a driver’s licence and be prepared to travel (30%) of the time as is a requirement of this role.
