BROAD PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The primary focus of this position is to provide quality installation, implementation, training, and support services for our Point-of-Sale, E-Commerce, and Loyalty products to our client base and market within the nominated territory. The role also involves consulting with clients on business best practices through the use of technologies, system troubleshooting, and problem-solving. The incumbent will be responsible for allocated account management, pre-sales support, and business development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Overview:

- Accountable to the State Manager for successful day to day operations.
- Work collaboratively with the State Manager to ensure commercial targets are achieved.
- Represent the company and its products and services in a professional and business-like manner.
- Recognise sales opportunities and grow the user base within the nominated territory.
- Develop and maintain good customer relations with the existing customer base.
- Develop and maintain good relations with Industry bodies and Wholesale groups.
- Reasonable travel to customer sites.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as reasonably required.
- Assume State Management responsibilities periodically as required.
- Accountability to ensure legal requirements regarding Occupational Health and Safety are maintained.
- Mentor and assist in the professional development of other team members on the company's solutions and standards.

Pre-sales support:

- Identify potential sales opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations to potential clients with the Account Manager.
- Identify functionality strengths and weaknesses on opposition software.
- Assist with key marketing initiatives.

Installation of POS Hardware & Software products to clients:

- Project management of system installations.
- Physical installation of POS equipment.
- Implement hardware and software installations per company standards.
- Configuring software to client specifications as required.
- Willingness to travel locally, interstate, and overseas, including overnight stays as required.

System troubleshooting and problem-solving:

- Communicate with clients to gain an understanding of their business and system needs.
- Analytical and thorough approach.
- Communicate in a non-technical manner to clients as required.
- Co-ordinate with 3rd Party software and hardware vendors for service as required.

Customer Training & Support:

- Train clients onsite and remotely in the use of the company's solutions.
- Support clients via onsite training, telephone support, and various remote connection software.
- Assist clients with ongoing training and education of products and systems.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the State Manager.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

POSITION: Client Services - 2IC / Installations & Professional Services (FMCG)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Driver's Licence.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to communicate effectively, particularly verbally, with a wide range of clientele.
- Be proactive, a quick learner, and customer-oriented.
- Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks and determine the most critical issues.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team while at the same time possess the ability to make consistent, rational, and independent decisions.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Advanced PC & Server configuration knowledge.
- Microsoft Network configuration.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-Secondary studies in Information Technology.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Previous experience utilising computerised Back Office & POS systems within a retail environment, in particular the Grocery industry.
- Understanding of Independent Supermarket and Hospitality industry
