Zenith Energy is one of Australia's leading independent power producers (IPP), specialising in delivering sustainable and reliable remote hybrid power generation solutions for clients supporting the energy transition.

Connected Energy complements Zenith's core IPP business and is responsible for developing and operating our expanding portfolio of grid-connected assets. It provides a local, reliable source of power generation to grid-connected projects for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Connected Energy allows Zenith to operate as a vertically integrated licensed electricity utility—generator, distributor, and retailer. It has three Microgrids in its portfolio: Peel Business Park, Ocean Reef Marina, and Eglinton Village.

About the Role

Connected Energy is recruiting for a temporary Customer Service Agent position.

As a Customer Service Agent, you will assist the Customer Service Coordinator and report directly to the Customer Service Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer calls and emails, submitting invoices, entering applications, managing connection offers, and reviewing those offers.

This role is based at the Connected Energy Head Office in Rivervale, Thursday 23/10/2025 to Wednesday 24/12/2025, Monday – Friday (9 am to 2 pm)

What You Will Do

  • Manage all customer enquiries, applications, and complaints via multi-channel modes i.e. phone, email etc.
  • Provide positive, efficient, educative and professional experiences to customers and clients at all times.
  • Sensitive customer engagement and data upkeep as required.
  • Update and maintain customer information in the database.
  • Support operational engagement with contracted partners.
  • Work closely with supporting departments and team members towards successfully executing activities.

What We Need from You

Experience

  • Customer Focused Service
  • Administration and data entry activities
  • Coordinate call center operations and directly manage customer inquiries and complaints (minimum of three years of experience).
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines
  • Maintains composure in stressful situations
  • Skilled in de-escalating and prioritising customer issues and queries
