Family Day Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic coordinator to join our FDC service. This is a rare opportunity to work in a leadership role, providing ongoing support and mentoring to a small group of high quality educators while working in a vibrant and supportive team.
This role is a full time position, approximately 30-40 hours a week.
Successful applicants will live in the Melbourne region or surrounding area as their core role will be completing regular support visits to Family Day Care Educators residing in this region.
Bambini are a child safe organisation that promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children, including those from Aboriginal or Torres Strait backgrounds, culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and those with a disability.
This position requires the applicant to:
- Develop respectful and professional relationships with team members, educators, families and community members.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with the Bambini Team
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work confidently with technology
- Support, mentor, and guide educators in program and practice with a focus on the NQS
- Actively participate in team meetings and commit to a culture of ongoing professional learning
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with the NQS and Regulations
- Collaborate with the educational Leader to plan and deliver pop up playgroups, educator meetings and other events
The successful applicant must have:
- Minimum qualification of Diploma in Children’s Services
- Current Driver’s License/full access to a car
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police check, completed within the last 6 months
- Current First Aid (HLTAID004) Includes, anaphylaxis, Asthma and Epipen
- Strong knowledge and understanding of National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place, National Regulations and Law, and National Quality Standards.
- Independence and ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with a team.
- Excellent time management skills and organisation
- Well-developed oral and written skills
- Competent IT skills
**Salary**: $72,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
