Ace Care is a registered provider of NDIS Services in Melbourne, offering comprehensive services to support the needs of our community. We are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care and ensuring that every participant's experience is tailored to their individual needs.
Role Overview:
The Service Coordinator will be responsible for tasks related to participant services, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community-based activities, and Short-term accommodations. This position is an integral part of our management team, as the Service Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining compliance with NDIS guidelines, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery: You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of services to our participants. This includes assisting participants with the specific support they require to meet their individual needs.
- Problem Solving: Addressing barriers to engagement, ensuring smooth communication with the participant and their respective care team.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensuring that all services in Melbourne are delivered in accordance with NDIS guidelines and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Reporting: Providing regular reports on service delivery metrics, participant feedback, and any operational challenges to senior management in Melbourne.
- Rostering: Maintaining and updating the participant's care plan and rostering system.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure services are delivered within budget in Melbourne and identify opportunities for financial efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare management, social services, business administration).
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the NDIS or similar healthcare services in Melbourne.
- Strong understanding of NDIS guidelines and compliance requirements in Melbourne.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eligibility Criteria
- Proof of Right to work in Australia.
- National Police Check.
- Working with Children's check (WWCC)
- 100 points ID
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- NDIS worker's screening check.
