About the RoleAs the Manager Compliance (Levies) you will lead a dedicated team focused on improving compliance, industry participation, and customer satisfaction within our portable long service leave schemes. You will play a crucial role in building the capability and capacity of our Levies and Enforcement function, ensuring effective decision-making and strategic oversight of regulatory outcomes.
**Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will**:
- Build capability around statutory decision-making for Enforcement services.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate frameworks for continuous quality improvement in regulatory functions.
- Lead the management of high-risk and complex regulatory matters.
- Oversee reporting of regulatory outcomes in line with legislative requirements.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders to achieve desired regulatory outcomes.
- Provide direction and technical guidance to staff, fostering a motivated and high-performing team.
- Prepare expert analysis and advice for senior management and the Executive Leadership Team.
- Experience in leading enforcement functions and driving improvement.
- Ability to interpret and advise on legislative obligations across multiple frameworks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Experience fostering a skilled and productive team environment.
- Strategic thinking, aligning operational tasks with broader organisational goals.
While there are no mandatory qualifications, a Certificate IV in Government Investigations, a Bachelor of Laws, or similar qualifications would be highly regarded.
It is desirable to have previous experience in investigations, drafting briefs of evidence and providing oral evidence in court.
