Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance, you will form part of the Compliance leadership group and be integral to the operation of the overarching P&N Risk Management Framework.
**About the role**
We’re looking for a Compliance professional with 2+ years’ experience in retail banking looking to progress their career to a leadership role.
You will embrace helping the Group to deliver on its transformation program, working hand in hand with the business stakeholders to find balanced regulatory compliance solutions.
The span of your role will include all facets of regulatory compliance, providing an opportunity successful applicant to fulfil a leadership role, and broaden your expertise to support your continuing career progression.
The scope of the role will include:
- Provide balanced compliance advice, working with the business to find and make appropriate risk-based business decisions;
- Champion effective regulatory compliance change throughout the business, looking for competitive opportunities, and levering the opportunity provided to effect positive change; and
- Conduct breach monitoring, management / regulatory reporting, remediation oversight. But the manner in which you go about your work is where you set yourself apart...
**What will you bring?**
- At least 2 years’ banking compliance experience.
- Tertiary Degree in compliance, risk management, law, business, or other relevant discipline.
- You’re the type of person that enjoys challenging the norm, is adaptive to change and wants to deliver positive change (and stop non-value adding activities).
- You’ll enjoy working closely with stakeholders to challenge business practices, to find and deliver better business practices.
- The ability to develop and cultivate strong business relationships.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
