Communications and Content Lead

The Marketing and Communications Team enables and supports the ECMS brand, connecting audiences to our purpose. We are seeking a** permanent Communications and Content Lead** to join the team and contribute to this success. This role ranges from writing blog posts to researching and developing white papers and requires you to be practiced in writing for both internal and external audiences. A core responsibility will be showcasing our achievements ad reinforcing our reputation within our team, partners and the wider early childhood sector. **What will you do?**
- Craft communications and content pieces to achieve outcomes. These include website and social content, internal/external newsletters, blogs and more. _Your storytelling magic will create impact and shape perceptions._
- Manage inbound engagement through social media platforms to ensure positive contact experience. _You appreciate the value of first impressions._
- Partnership management of external partners including media to ensure ECMS is positioned well. _You take pride in developing strong partnerships._
- Provide strategic contributions and higher-level thinking to drive continuous improvement. _You want to help create what’s next for an organisation with momentum._
- Support reputation and crisis management response where appropriate. _You know a cool head and a good plan is the best response._
- Project management responsibilities to support continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. _You value the people alongside you bringing different knowledge and expertise._
- Collect data and reporting to analyse the effectiveness of communications activities to inform future recommendations. _You love the data and making decisions from the insights._
**More about you**
- 5+ years developing internal and external communications and content.
- Practiced in working across both strategic and operational areas of communications and content.
- Outstanding written communication skills including copy writing, grammar and editing.
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work autonomously to progress work and meet deadlines.Desktop publishing experience with intermediate level Adobe Creative Suite skills.
- Ability to use reporting to deliver insights and recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on solutions. And a team player with a goal-orientated mindset.
