Storehouse Thrift is an exciting second hand clothing and goods business that exists to raise funds for our very own drug and alcohol addictions rehab as well as promoting sustainability. In your role as our Northcote Store Manager you will manage daily running of the store, create engaging and exciting visual displays, control stock including the ordering process and trend forecasting, implement excellent customer service, foster a healthy workplace culture for your team as well as offering them on going training and support. All while representing our brand and our charity.

This is a fun and exciting role for anyone looking to step out of a more traditional retail role, anyone passionate about fashion and community or someone who wants to work with a small passionate team who love what they do.

PLEASE NOTE:
**Key Requirements**
- Proven ability to create amazing customer experiences.
- Experience with diplomatically managing multiple commitments to customers, staff and operations.
- Ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a constantly changing customer facing environment.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work Tuesdays - Saturdays 10am - 6pm. This is a full time role with set shifts.
- The desire to not only be a part of a positive and empowering team but to help nurture it further.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify areas of concern and effectively implement changes.

**Advantageous Skills and Qualities**
- You have a passion for our cause, after all, it is why we exist
- You have experience in and an aptitude for Visual Merchandising or a strong interest and willingness to learn.
- An understanding of current trends and the ability to implement them into the store.
- Comfortable creating social media content.
- Knowledge of brands and têxtiles.
- Innovative - we love collaborating with our managers and exploring new ideas

**Salary**: $27.66 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Fixed shift
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:
