**Your new company**
This Federal Government Department is looking for an APS6 Accounts Team Leader to lead small team.

**Your new role**
Working within the financial operations team you will be managing 2 staff members across accounts payable, accounts receivable and debt management. Please find a brief overview of required duties for the role.
- Manage the accounts team workload and daily activities
- Compile accounts information for reporting purposes
- Liaise with internal and external shared service clients
- Undertake payment runs - Finance One and SAP
- Undertake outstanding invoice approval follow ups
- Process reserve bank of Australia manual and overseas payments
- Prepare late payment interest calculations
- Process credit notes
- Post invoices, credit notes and receipts
- Assist staff to handle incoming communications
- Creating and maintaining AR Debtor records

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Finance One and SAP experience
- Demonstrate experience in a similar role
- Baseline Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship)
- Excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills

**What you'll get in return**
On offer is a 6-month contract on an hourly rate or S26 transfer if you are moving from another department.
