**360 Personnel** are seeking a **Purchasing and Inventory Officer** to join the global products team in Smithfield for an ASAP start.
Our client is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia who designs, builds and sustains assets, infrastructure and facilities.
Working in their products department warehouse based in Smithfield where they manufacture a wide range of building components in house, for their infrastructure projects as well as exporting to external companies.
The role will start off as Temp/Casual with full time hours. With the aim to transfer to a permanent position after 3-4 months.
**The Role**
Manage the end-to-end sourcing, purchasing and replenishment of raw materials & finished products across our business; Key tasks being, planning purchases, shipping related activities, supplier management & inventory reporting.
- Ordering of stock
- Monitoring of inventory
- Create purchase orders
- Manage stock rotation and stock management to reduce waste.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure shipments orders are shipped promptly.
- Create reorder triggers for existing inventory and generate stock reports.
- Work closely with Warehouse Manager around stocktake management.
- Liaise with internal finance accounts teams to ensure supplier invoices are paid in full and on time.
- Maintain sufficient stock holdings to support our supply & sales obligations.
