**The Opportunity**:
Are you a strategic thinker who enjoys optimising operations? Komatsu, the world's largest manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, is looking for a creative Regional Planner to join our Central Region Planning team.
**As a Regional Planner you will be responsible for**:
- Conduct Sales & Operations (S&OP) to obtain necessary data from Regional, Parts & Supply Chain Teams to optimise purchase recommendations from the system/manual recommendations.
- Playing a crucial role in increasing customer satisfaction, by working closely with our customer’s plans, and formulating long term and short-term strategic actions.
- Monitoring fast moving inventory requirements, slow-moving inventory aging, and stock turn, whilst reaching operational goals; and provide detailed analysis and continuous improvement to projects whilst creating and sharing recommendations ensuring visibility to management teams.
- Key stakeholder (internal and external) engagement to achieve planning and inventory targets.

**What we are looking for**:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or similar experience.
- A self-starter with a minimum of 2 years of experience working within the Mining or Construction industry is required.
- Experience with MRP or Planning Systems and Calculations and CMMS.
- Experience using Microsoft Suite, with an advanced level of Excel.
- An analytical individual who has a keen eye for detail.
- An articulate communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
