
National Strategic Parts Manager

**The Opportunity**:
The purpose of the role is to manage and maintain slow-moving strategic inventory to support Komatsu products whilst also driving inventory improvement activities through purchasing control, aged inventory reduction and inventory obsolescence strategies. In addition to managing Strategic Inventory the role also manages KMC Inventory including long term planning and execution of Shut and Rebuild Plans. In this role, you will also:
- Lead and motivate, ensuring friendly, timely and professional resolution of issues and business improvement recommendations.
- Collaboratively work with the managers to maintain and advance the Spare Parts KPIs including forecast accuracy, Shut/Rebuild DIFOT, Kit DIFOT, Aged Inventory Reduction and Total Inventory (Strategic)
- Manage communication between Regional Sales and Operations to ensure our compliance with Komatsu Customer Support Charter
- Monthly inventory reports, with a firm reliance on data and data visualisation to provide regular standard reports and clear outcomes of improvement projects and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive Slow Moving Inventory Continuous Improvement activities
- Maintain management overview, communication and optimisation of Slow Moving Inventory and Planning activities
**Role location**: Fairfield (NSW), Wacol (QLD) or Welshpool (WA)

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Tertiary Qualifications in business, supply chain/logistics, engineering or similar
- Experience in MRP or Planning Systems and Processes
- Intrinsically motivated with proven time management skills to prioritise and deliver routine tasks
- Sound knowledge of MRP system calculations
- Established strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as be a team player.
- Solution orientated with a positive attitude to deliver accurate results on time
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
- High-level attention to detail and proven data entry accuracy and integrity
- Experience with Quality Control tools (desirable but not essential as in-house training provided)
