YOUR NEW ROLE
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for executing the scheduled cycle count process, supporting the investigation of stock load and stock discrepancies, and broadly ensuring that stock quantities and locations is maintained to an accurate standard which ensures the receiving, picking and despatch operations within the DC are executed effectively and efficiently.
**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:
- Purchasing, receiving, picking and packing, reporting, and conducting regular stocktakes.
- You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to effectively manage inventory, including stock levels, forecasting, and supplier price updates.
- You will also provide internal sales support to the sales team.
**TO BE SUCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL REQUIRE**:
- Experience in inventory control and the use of inventory management systems
- Ability to manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and reporting
- Proficiency in maintaining sufficient stock levels, including stock purchasing
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective communication between the warehouse and the sales team
- Strong experience with computer-based warehouse management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records
