**About Us**

Our company began in the 1800s when Dr Thomas Pennington Lucas, a Scottish botanist who migrated to Australia, combined the study of over 10,000 Australian plants with his medical training and produced the unique formula for Lucas’ Papaw Ointment. Used extensively to treat patients in his own hospital, the remedy was also adopted by other hospitals such as London’s Greater Ormond Hospital which even wrote a testimonial as to the ointment’s effectiveness in 1910. On his death, Dr Lucas left to his widow the complete formulae of his preparations and all directions for compounding them, and this same formula is still produced exactly as he specified, more than 100 years later.

Now owned and run by the doctor’s great-great-grandchildren, Lucas’ Papaw Remedy is sold today in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines and Hong Kong. Its natural antiseptic and healing properties have led to many awards such as two Trip Advisor’s
_Traveller’s Choice_ awards for Most Popular Lip Balm and
_Buyer’s Choice_ awards for baby products. We are still the only company to make freshly fermented papaw and we still peel our papaws by hand to ensure the highest quality. It is this kind of approach that has led to us going viral with
_Stranger Things_ actress Sadie Sinks swearing by it and singer Adele’s professional make-up artist Michael Ashton including it in his make-up kit.

Yet none of this would be possible without our great people. People like our production supervisor who started with us 15 years ago and is now a vital and highly valued leader in our company. Or Katherine who has kept our exacting accounts area running smoothly for 6 years. We are a small nimble, team so everyone has an impact, and we have fun and celebrate success together. As well as financially supporting charitable ventures we are also involved in research with organisations like Griffith University and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Our long-term vision is to continuously improve, expand our global markets, and introduce new generations to Lucas Papaw’s healing properties.

**About The Role**

Reporting directly to the company manager, we are looking for a high achiever to research, develop and implement a wide variety of business development projects to achieve our organisational goals. You’ll be a self-starter with planning and oversight of projects from initial concept to completion. This involves factors such as risk mitigation, managing external consultants, monitoring stakeholder and service provider compliance and results, and regular reporting to stakeholders on project performance. As we work in a highly regulated environment we will also be looking to you to support our senior managers in regard to the constantly changing rules and regulations related to our product.

Some of the past projects undertaken in this role include product registration in other countries, coordinating Trademark acquisition through our Trademark lawyers, and managing consultants to conduct clinical trials. This is a linchpin role - one of only a handful in the company - and we’re looking for someone with great know-how, a lot of autonomy, and a professional ethical approach, who can deliver high-quality projects. **What You’ll Need To Succeed**:

- Demonstrated experience and achievement in project coordination, regulation and compliance, facilitation and general business support in past roles, or a graduate with up to 2 years of transferrable experience, coupled with strong research, documentation and compliance skills
- A track record in generating and delivering outcomes, on-time and on budget.
- Proven success working across a diverse range of business areas.
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement and learning.
