**Work with us**:
You will be working alongside the Mt Druitt community to support, develop and implement effective data collection, methodology and analysis.

Use your lived experience to help us help your local community find their own solutions to reduce Aboriginal People’s interactions with the criminal justice system.

**Some of what you'll be doing**:

- You’ll be collaborating with the Mt Druitt team to embed Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks into internal and external reporting.
- You’ll be supporting all programs and initiatives to ensure the Mt Druitt team embed a data-driven approach
- Engaging and building strong relationships with community members and stakeholders through representing the vision and values of JRNSW.
- Using your administrative skills to contribute to data entry and maintaining internal databases as required.
- Supporting team members of the Mt Druitt team with administration and project tasks as required.

**Some of what you'll need**:

- Knowledge and appreciation of the cultural and social needs of Aboriginal people and the need for community-led justice reinvestment initiatives.
- Experience working alongside Aboriginal communities.
- Entry level experience in designing, planning, monitoring, reviewing and reporting using tools such as Theory of Change and logical frameworks.
- Stakeholder management, communication skills and teamwork.
- Problem solving, digital and data literacy across Microsoft Office and data collection.

**Who we are**:
Just Reinvest NSW (JRNSW) supports Aboriginal communities to develop their own solutions for change, making them safer and more just. Our goal is to reduce Aboriginal People’s interactions with the criminal justice system.

We do this by creating stronger and safer futures through both community-led initiatives and state-wide policy and legislative reform, redirecting funds away from systems that harm people, towards communities with high rates of contact with the justice system.

We work alongside Aboriginal communities to support place-based, community-led and data driven approaches to inform local solutions, such as devising local ‘justice circuit-breakers’. Our place-based approach feeds into our broader policy and advocacy work to create levers for change.

JRNSW brings together Aboriginal communities, government, agencies, philanthropic and private sector partners across political and cultural spectrums to leverage the justice reinvestment approach.
