Market leading and highly attractive annual salary package on offer - Working with a growing & award-winning home building company - Positive and dynamic company culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration **The Company**: Our client is an award-winning medium-density home building company and due to continued high levels of growth are now looking to hire an experienced Construction Manager to join their busy senior leadership team working in Geelong and Werribee. **Position Description**: The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring all projects are running on time, on budget and to the highest quality during the construction to warranty stages of the project. **Objectives of the Role**: Ensure the construction team is efficient and trained to make sure they can fulfill their KPIs to a high standard. **Key Responsibilities of the Role**: - Manage a site supervisor team of 4 - Each supervisor managing approx 12-15 jobs at any one time - Responsible of approx 40-60 houses in construction - Undertake internal project review meeting with Site Supervisor team - Monitor WHS inspection completions and site safety is being undertaken - Provide training, mentorship, motivation, guidance and support to - Manage and build on the strong working relationships with clients and suppliers. - Solve disputes, issues with peers, contractors, and clients - Monitor workflow and completion dates - Undertake weekly operations meeting with individual supervisors - Update construction KPI systems and record progress - Monitor progress and ensure items are completed in a timely matter - Implementing mandatory quality assurance stage inspections throughout the build process minimising errors/defects on completion **Role Requirements**: - Minimum 2 years experience in construction management with a recongnised home building company. - Project Management or relevant construction tertiary education - Proven time management and organisational skills - Ability to work well in a team and independently - Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook - Ability to learn new systems and software - Excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - Understand how to train and motivate staff and lead the team to achieve desired outcomes **The key benefits for you**: - Market-leading and highly competitive and attractive salary package on offer - Opportunity for long-term growth and progression - Results and achievements are recognised and rewarded accordingly - Long term role - Working within a very supportive and collaborative team environment from office through to the site. - An excellent company culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration - Excellent opportunity to continue on from the excellent results of the business to date and drive the company to the next level - Embed yourself within an exciting challenge to continue the great work of a very exciting business and continuing to drive the company forward for the long term for mutually beneficial outcomes. **How to Apply?** **Via the Seek Website**: Submit your updated resume using the **Via Smartphone/Seek App**:Submit your updated resume using the **"Quick Apply"** button at the bottom of your telephone screen and follow the on-screen instructions.
