My client, an Industry pioneer and with a global reach, is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead its National Transport operation as the business continues to grow 50% YOY. With an unrivalled solution that is dominating ANZ, the business is supporting many ASX 200 customers in their journey to achieve a sustainable, high performing and customer focused operation.

As the National Transport Optimisation Manager, you'll lead National Transport operations, navigating exceptions, demand changes, and capacity limits, with a key focus on driving CI initiatives across the ANZ network. Key to your success will be your ability to enhance a nationwide line haul and distribution network to cater to a broad ASX customer base, that is safe with excellent visibility across all operational facets. Your focus will be to deliver exceptional customer service, enhance performance and drive cost efficiencies, which will be achieved by nurturing carrier relationships through balancing quality and cost, and boosting margins through value-added services and network utilization.

Identifying opportunities, you'll drive growth and develop a seamless nationwide Transport network that is capable of meeting the demands of a diverse, blue-chip customer base. Your analytical and operational skills will guide informed decisions, while your communication will foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned as the business continues to grow and increase market share.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A strong understanding of domestic road transport operations across Australia, with experience servicing diverse clientele
- Sound commercial and analytical skillset, with an ability to identify performance levers across an operation and make improvements
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to negotiate rates to drive optimal cost and operational efficiencies
- Passion for health and safety along with strong understanding of COR principles
