**The Role**

Due to a valued member of our team moving into a secondment role, we are looking for a Learning Designer to join our team for 12 months.

This role leads and manages the instructional design of blended learning solutions i.e. all learning products for our business including instructor led (classroom, webinar, virtual, etc) and online learning. This is an excellent opportunity to explore new and innovative ways to create engaging and memorable learning experiences as well as regularly consider continuous improvement to existing programs.

**Your impact**

You will impact in this role by:

- Using your creative flair to experiment with ways of producing learning content with impact.
- Conducting Training Needs Analysis - Consultation and stakeholder engagement and lock in key milestones of each project
- Taking end to end responsibility for the delivery of programs allocated, including professionally planned and presented Train the Trainer for new programs.
- Ensuring all programs designed achieve 85% of strongly agree ratings for their suitability to the business and the learner.
- Evaluating all learning programs after launch to determine the success and future areas of improvement.
- Working with the wider Learning and Development Team to ensure appropriate and effective learning materials are produced for the Medibank business.
- Maintaining strong mutually beneficial client relationships with key stakeholders in the business.

**About you**

You’re an experienced Learning Designer with creative, human-centred ideas and not afraid to experiment. You have proven experience in learning project management planning and implementation and have worked across a large business previously, completing sound training needs analysis and subsequent learning solutions.

Must have skills
- Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles
- Certificate Level IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent experience
- Experience using Instructional Design principles
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to build rapport and engage with stakeholders across the business
- You’re an innovative thinker who challenges the status quo and regularly looks for new and creative ways of improving learner outcomes

Highly desired
- Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (Totara) and Articulate Storyline.
