**Pricing Analyst (Hybrid Working - North Ryde Office)**

**Permanent, Full-time**

As Pricing Analyst, you will provide the Vet Services business with pricing analysis and decision support to identify growth and margin enhancement opportunities.

Greencross Pet Wellness Compnay is Australia’s largest integrated pet wellness organisation; with a national network of retail stores (Petbarn and City Farmers), veterinary practices (Greencross Vets), and our Animal Emergency Hospitals.

**As the Pricing Analyst, you will**:

- provide the Vet Services business with pricing analysis and decision support to identify growth and margin enhancement opportunities
- define, communicate, and capture revenue opportunities and potential margin risks to inform pricing strategies and price setting protocols on an ongoing basis
- test and adapt your thinking and modelling to find pricing and customer insights that will generate value for customers and the business
- provide insights from your analysis which will inform and build on our customer focused pricing strategy
- be working across teams and functions to drive optimal pricing outcomes and business performance

**Price Setting**:

- Partner with the Vet Services and Clinical leadership teams to set optimal pricing architecture that maximises sales and profitability across all clinical procedures and products
- Assess cost and value drivers across different procedures, products, channels, and geographies
- Provide the business with pricing analysis and decision support to identify growth and margin enhancement opportunities
- Integrate pricing plans into the category management framework and process including robust risk analysis
- Co-ordinate with IT and Operations team to implement price changes on time and in full
- Work with strategy, operations, category, procurement and IT team to identify opportunities to further refine and streamline pricing architecture

**Analysis & Reporting**:

- Track price change impact by product, channel, customer type, etc and understand customer and competitor behaviour in response to pricing actions
- Produce monthly Price Performance Reporting including financial/non-financial indicators impacting pricing decisions and customer behaviour
- Utilise market pricing intel and customer insights to identify opportunities and provide recommendations for price changes
- Create local market benchmarking reports to support communicating price changes to clinics
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support as required
- An undergraduate degree and/or post graduate qualification in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
- Experience in providing pricing, commercial and margin/profitability analysis to stakeholders
- Advanced excel, data modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen
- Strong communication and teamwork ability
- Experience with SQL and PowerBI is preferred but not essential
